SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 16th, 2023 RACE STARTS @ 2:00pm. Please arrive at the start no later than 30 minutes before your start time.

Release of Liability Waiver

In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the Eagle Ranch Amazing Race, related events and activities the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates and agrees that:

1. The risk of injury from the activities involved in this program could be significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist.

2. I knowingly and freely assume all such risk, both known and unknown, and assume full responsibility for my participation.  I am aware that the organizers, Eagle Ranch and the Town of Eagle do not carry participants insurance.

3. I acknowledge and accept responsibility for myself and all team members when crossing roads along the course, ensuring safe crossing on all occasions during the race.

4. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin hereby release and hold harmless Eagle Ranch and the Town of Eagle, and any sponsors, their officers, officials, agents, employees and volunteers with any respect to injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property.

5. I also represent that, as Team Leader I am authorized to sign this document on behalf of myself and of all participants in our team.

I AGREE TO INDEMNIFY THE RELEASED PARTIES FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS WHATSOEVER BROUGHT BY A THIRD PARTY WHICH I MAY CAUSE.

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THE PARTICIPATION RULES & GUIDELINES, THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THE TERMS. I UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT INDUCEMENT. I AM AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE.
